Sharp are trying to come up with the smallest digital devices before anyone else. Last month, Sharp introduced the world’s first 3D camera for phones and now it has introduced the world’s smallest digital TV tuner. Measuring only 30mm x 29.6mm x 5mm, the Sharp VA1N2WF2121 digital TV tuner is about 70% smaller and 50% thinner than the previous model by Sharp. The electronics company have reduced the number of parts from 300 to just 80. The new Sharp digital TV tuner is compatible with DVB-T, ATSC, ISDB-T/TB, DVB-T/T2 and CTTB.
