You always have to check the polarities of batteries and be very careful when inserting them in a digital camera or other digital devices. But if you’re like me and always forget this, you might like this innovation from Microsoft. Microsoft has announced ‘InstaLoad’ battery installation; the technology that allows you to insert a battery without having to worry about positive and negative polarity.
Microsoft says that “unlike existing electronic solutions designed to address battery-polarity installation, InstaLoad is a mechanical invention that does not drain battery power or require expensive electronic circuitry.”
There are still no announcements on when the technology will be available for the devices.
