We’ve seen a crazy concept car that can combine two motorcycles to make a car. Now we see a car that will use the power produced from the surface on which it moves on. Developed for the year 2030, the “O-Lec,” or online electric car, by British designer Scott Gilbert is an electric vehicle concept that produces power from the surface it moves on instead of charging up through a power cord or running on fuel cells.
Accommodating two passengers, one behind the other, the online electric car can also be rented out in urban centres for short-range driving. The O-Lec could well be a smart and sustainable alternative for standard fuel or battery powered vehicles in the days to come.
