Indie group, Arcade Fire, have just brought their fans (and non-fans) an interactive music video. Director Chris Milk teamed up with unlikely partners, Google Chrome for this new experience. Viewers will now be able to see their home featured in the band’s own music video.

Basically, when you go to Arcade Fire’s official website (it’s best to do this in Chrome – you’ll see why later) and enter in your address, their video will start playing – featuring your home and familiar surroundings via Google Street View!

Pretty cool huh?

Only downside is – Arcade Fire’s video is shot at night time, yet Google Street View is shown in daylight. Bit of an obvious flaw – or am I missing some intriguing and creative reason behind this?

When uploading the video, this needs to be done in Chrome to avoid a lot of crashes if done on a different browser. You also need a high speed internet connection to get the best out of the film.
