Virtual reality certainly has a future as more and more products are coming. While the world is going towards a controller-free gaming experience with the introduction of Microsoft’s Kinect for Xbox 360, some experiences can’t be matched to anything.
Virtual racing simulators are one such example. They give you the feeling of ‘reality’ with physical controls. If virtual racing is your type, check out this advanced racing simulator ‘VRX iMotion’ from VRX Industries, “which promises to fulfill your wish of driving to the crazy limits without the fear of receiving a speeding ticket.”
The VRX iMotion racing simulator features NVIDIA GeForce 3D Surround Vision, the D-BOX Motion Code that uses motion effects specifically programmed for each film, TV series or video game, which are sent to a motion generating system integrated within either a platform or a seat.
“Other key features include carbon fiber base with locking wheels for easy simulator positioning and set-up, Sparco racing seat, CNC-machined aluminum bracket and parts, stainless steel reinforced tubing, fully adjustable display and PC rack mount placement,” explains Naveen at Bornrich.
According to Bornrich, the VRX iMotion racing simulator is compatible with XBox 360, PS3 and Wii, and the company have made it available from August 1st, with the pre-orders shipping next month with a price tag of US $27,995 (£17,826.70).
