We knew it was coming, didn’t we? The Japanese mobile phone and electronics manufacturer, Sharp, is going to launch a couple of glasses-free 3D mobile phones running Android 2.2 on top of a 1GHz Snapdragon processor.

Dubbed as Galapagos 003SH and 005SH, both handsets sport a 3.8-inch 3D-capable display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution. The 005SH features a full QWERTY keyboard and an 8-megapixel camera while 003SH has a 9.6 megapixel camera capable of recording 720p video but no full QWERTY keyboard.

Capcom has announced the 3D versions of their games Mega Man, Ghosts ‘n Goblins: Gold Knights, and Resident Evil: Degeneration for Android, for 003SH and 005SH handsets, in case you’re wondering to find 3D content to enjoy.

The 003SH is coming to Japan’s Softbank network this December, and the 005SH is due February next year.
