Technology seems to have gone 3D mad at the moment, and is about to get even stranger with the introduction of 5 meter 3D advertisements – without the need of 3D glasses. It works in the same principle as postcards that seem to move as you change their angle, yet these 3D advertisements have 250,000 lenses. “A specialised software modifies the digital data so that the lenses do not distort the final image and using the three dimensional model of the final image, the program calculates a complete image for each of the 250,000 individual lenses” says Geeky Gadgets. Now 3D advertisements will be able to be seen from across the road, as well as close up.
