Printing costs can be pretty steep, so cutting the costs on inks and toners is vital for helping your business save money.

Buying inks and toners online can save you a significant amount of money because online retailers can offer you the discounted prices due to the smaller business overheads, without the need for a physical location. This also saves you money on petrol you would have used if you were driving to a nearby shop to buy inks and toners.

The advantages of buying inks and toners online, is that many companies offer free delivery (some even do free next day delivery!) and in some cases you may get special discounts on buying cartridges in bulk.

The disadvantages of buying you printing supplies online though are that you can’t see the items physically, and so you unable to fully assess the quality of the product. Secondly if you required a product on an urgent basis, it’s not ideal to buy online as little or no online retailers offer same day delivery. However, proper planning and ordering in advance can help you get the delivery on time.

Mouse2House is an online office computer supplies store, which offers both original and recycled original ink and toner cartridges suitable for a wide range of printers at competitive prices. Our recycled original cartridges are up to 70% cheaper than the originals and are guaranteed to offer the same quality. They come with a next working day replacement service and a 100% money back guarantee. These cartridges are from our suppliers GreenTech, who professionally remanufacture empty originals at their warehouse in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. Their remanufactured inks and toners provide the same print quality and page yield as the original and come with money back guarantee.

The Epson R3000 photo printer will be available for sale in March at a suggested price of US$849 (£530) with a one-year limited warranty in the America and Canada.

“Epson has also announced the cartridge prices; £24.35 (inc. VAT) each”. This may seem like a relatively small number, but to fit you out with a complete set of nine cartridges will cost users £219.15 (inc. VAT). Therefore you are practically paying for half your printer again in cartridges. :/

Ever wondered what’s the difference between an inkjet and laser printer? How do you know what cartridges are compatible with your printer? What’s the difference between an original, recycled and compatible cartridge?

Well if any of these questions have passed through your mind, but you were too afraid to ask then fear not! We’ve spared you the shame of asking these questions out loud – you can read this informative post instead.

What is toner cartridge yield?

Yield is the amount of pages the cartridges is likely to produce at a standard 5% coverage. For example, if the cartridge description tells you that it has a page yield of 2,000 pages, then this means that that cartridge is likely to produce 2,000 pages at 5% coverage. Obviously if you are printing lots of photo then you would be printing at a higher % coverage, meaning your page yield is likely to decrease. The yield description advises you when buying your cartridge, so you know roughly how long that cartridge will last. (more…)
