My boss receives hundreds of emails a day, mainly containing newsletters, product offers and of course, our work related emails . Well, many of us face the same situation everyday with our emails anyway. Google has also realised this problem and have come up with a solution; the Gmail Priority Inbox.
According to the official Google blog, the company is going to unveil the priority inbox feature to its Gmail service that aims to separate a user’s important emails from the ones that do not get read often. The new feature will help users focus on messages that matter, without having to set up complex rules. (more…)
We’re all quite familiar with the search suggestions Google make as you type in the search box. Well, Google is trying to take this feature to a new level by testing live search results as you type i.e. you don’t even have to hit ‘enter’ or click search to see the search results for a search term.
I personally see no point in buying a mobile phone purely for their games, as lets be honest – the games haven’t been great. Plus, handheld gaming consoles like Nintendo’s DS and Sony’s PSP have become very advanced. But if this news from Engadget is true, I might change my mind. Despite the early fanfare that Google ‘Wave’ received when it was launched last year, the ‘innovative’ software failed to achieve the adoption by users. Now the Mountain View Company has announced it would no longer “continue developing Wave as a standalone product.”
Google has brought another cool feature to Gmail; you can now drag and drop your email attachments to your desktop. If you hover over the file icon or the “Download” link for any attachment, you’ll notice the new text prompting you to drag the file to your desktop to save.
