With Apple’s new trackpad coming on to the market, it seems that this is a ‘hello, goodbye’ situation to their ever evolving technology. The trackpad was first introduced to us back in 2008. These Magic Trackpads have just gone on sale, coming in at £59. They can work from 10 metres away (not that you could still see your screen if you were 10 metres away) and are also wireless. (more…)

Just as the talks about Facebook’s privacy issues seemed to have died down a little, a Canadian security researcher Ron Bowes has sparked a debate and revived the hype surrounding this social networking site. He did this by releasing 100 million Facebook users’ data on to the popular BitTorrent search engine, Pirate Bay.

After 3D broadcasts of football, rugby union, cricket, rugby league and darts to more than 1500 pubs in the UK, Europe’s first 3D TV channel, Sky 3D, is about to come to home viewers from 1st October with a range of 3D movies and sports events.

We knew this was coming after the huge success of the iPad. Amazon is releasing an upgraded version of its e-reader ‘Kindle’, with a heap of Ebooks for the UK market. The company is expecting a massive boost in the sales of Ebooks in the coming years.

This robot walked an impressive 14.3 miles, all by itself. Humans accompanied the little fella on it’s walk but it wasn’t touched the whole 10 hours, 40 minutes and 48 seconds it took to walk this distance (more…)
